Full throttle with the EXIST start-up grant
State funding for VAARHAFT sets new standards
VAARHAFT has been receiving government funding since June 2023. We are proud and grateful to announce that we have received the EXIST start-up grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) for 12 months.
Aim and support of the program
The aim of the program is to improve the start-up climate at universities and non-university research institutions and to increase the number and success of technology-oriented and innovative start-ups in Germany. EXIST is co-financed by the https://www.esf.de/portal/DE/Startseite/inhalt.html (ESF). The ESF is one of the European Structural and Investment Funds.
Attractive opportunities for VAARHAFT
The scholarship offers us at VAARHAFT a very good opportunity to further develop our business model and prepare for the company foundation under attractive conditions. With financial and non-material support through tailored coaching, we can now all work intensively on our product full-time and give it our all to establish and develop VAARHAFT.
Support from Startup Bridge
As part of the BMWK's EXIST start-up grant, we are actively supported by the Startup Bridge at Wedel University of Applied Sciences . The Startup Bridge is the university's start-up and innovation platform and supports us with organizational tasks and budget management during the funding period. In addition, it offers us valuable advice on topics related to starting up and developing a company and gives us access to a broad network in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
